Below you will find some frequently asked questions. If you don’t find the answer to what you’re looking for please don’t hesitate to contact us directly. We’re always happy to help!
Comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely and feel confident. Avoid anything too loose or baggy that might get in the way of your practice. Layers are good so you can adjust as your temperature changes.
Bring your own mat if you have one, if not we have lots here to borrow. We provide all other equipment.
No, yoga is accessible to people of all fitness levels and abilities. The instructor can provide modifications and alternatives to make the practice accessible for you. If you have any injuries or are pregnant please contact your teacher before attending.
It is recommended to avoid eating a large meal or drinking a lot of fluids right before class, as it can make you feel uncomfortable during practice. A light snack or small meal one to two hours before class should be fine.
Yoga is not about being flexible, if anything that's one of the reasons you should come. We welcome you from complete beginners no matter your ability.
